Week 9 and Assessment 2 for MN101
Dear MN101 Students,
I would like to update you on several matters moving forward:
1. HOME-BASED LEARNING
As you know, we are going to continue MN101 Principles of Management Lectures and Tutorials from a home-based learning environment for the rest of the Semester.
Sheridan College remains open for you to be able access our computers, library, wifi and food bank if you require it.
Come and visit us during business hours!
2. SELF CARE
Please continue exercising, eating healthily, maintaining a regular, structured schedule, and utilise this time of self-isolation to get your work done!
Please take care of your physical, mental and emotional health - please look out for, and take care of one another.
Call and check in with your family, friends and colleagues regularly.
My Church - Victory Life Centre provides weekly meals for anyone who requires it, including cereals, meat, milk, dry goods, fruits and vegetables and deserts FREE OF CHARGE, depending on what is available. Each person gets a whole meal package. You can visit the Margaret Court Community Outreach Centre at 14 Neil street Osbourne Park between 10am and 3pm from Tuesday to Friday. The MCCO remains open!
Their website has more information and a contact number here: https://www.mcco.org.au/
3. MN101 STUDIES AT SC
In relation to your studies, I have already given you access to Week 9 Lecture and Tutorial materials, but I will be adding a voice recording of the relevant Chapters which you can download, as well as a visual file navigation of Week 9 resources I have posted on-line and how you can maximise your home-based learning practices.
Please keep up with your readings, lectures and tutorials on Canvas on a regular basis.
I will make myself available on-line on Skype during the three-hours of our regular lecture times to chat with anyone who requires it, and I will think about inviting you all onto Skype for a tutorial.
(Please get a Skype account, if you do not have one already. Skype is free to download and free to set up/access.)
Please feel free to contact me via email or Skype between 9am at 12pm every Tuesday morning.
My Skype name is: Andrea Tokaji (Canberra). The photo is of me wearing a yellow dress with a colourful umbrella behind.
Alternatively, please email me anytime and allow a 48 hour turn-around time for emails.
4. MN101 ASSESSMENT 2
I have provided some instructions to some students via email on expectations of Assessment 2, which you can find below:
