For Assignment 2, you are required to select a different topic from the same list provided for Assignment 1. Please note that the list has been updated to include an additional topic that we covered after the first assignment. You must not choose the same topic as your first assignment. The aim is to broaden your understanding by exploring a new area of study.

3. Managing in a Global Environment

Describe the firm’s management process in a Global Environment, identify and anlayse strengths and drawbacks using relevant management theory, and suggest improvements to make the firm’s global management approach more efficient and effective.

4. Strategy Formulation

Describe the firm’s strategy formulation process, identify strengths and analyse drawbacks, and suggest improvements to make the firm’s strategy formulation process more efficient and effective.

5. Managing Human Resources

Analyse how the firm manages its Human Resources Management approach, identity, and analyse strengths and drawbacks, and suggest improvements to make the firm’s Human Resources Management approach process more efficient and effective.

The essay should include an analysis and evidence of an extensive literature review (minimum 10 sources – 9 articles and your textbook). Analysis is required to demonstrate how you would apply your learning using best practice in management, with recommendations for improvement to the company’s current practices. The overall mark is worth 40% of the final mark for this unit. Students must show progress to the lecturer weekly on written elements of this Essay. Use of ChatGPT or other plagiarism tools will not be tolerated. A short ten (10) minute presentation of your essay’s outline and the sources you used must be presented to the class in WEEK NINE.  The purpose of the presentation is to obtain feedback. The final submission of this assignment is in WEEK 11, on 15^th May at 23:59.
